Scope of Works
The scope includes:
- Site survey
- Bulk excavation in cutting, filling, and site levelling and grading.
- Excavation, laying, testing, sterilization, flushing, cleaning, backfilling, and commissioning of all works including supply of materials.
- Removal of existing infrastructure including Gatch road, wells, well chambers, pipelines, valve chambers, power cables, distribution tank, office containers, generators, diesel tank and all ducts, chambers and cables related to power and SCADA system.
- Drilling and construction of groundwater wells including hydraulic testing, geophysical logging.
- Supply, delivery and installation of groundwater monitoring equipment and submersible pumps.
- Thrust blocks and valve chambers on new and existing pipelines.
- Construction of transmission and distribution water pipelines and Interconnection with new/existing network.
- Reinstatement and maintaining of existing surfaces in accordance with the specifications and in conformance with Dubai Municipality /RTA requirements.
- Fixing new valves, air valves and wash outs and other fittings on the pipelines including the construction of chambers.
- Construction of new GRP distribution tank including foundation, panels, structural support, opening, level measurements, instrumentations and all valves and fittings related to the tank.
- Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of new SCADA field devices (Butterfly Valves, Gate Valves, Flow meters/ Pressure Transmitters & Water Quality Analysers), communicating with Modbus RTU protocol with the RTU. Scope to include all necessary power and signal cabling works to interface with new/ existing SCADA system and instrumentations to make the system operational.
- Supply, Installation, Configuration, Testing and Commissioning of Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) communicating with the Water SCADA System through GPRS/ Fiber Optic media on IEC-870-5-104 protocol and interfaced with field devices with Hard wired/ MODBUS RTU Protocol.
- Supply and installation of GRP enclosure for the RTU & SCADA Field Devices with condition monitoring, complete wiring, fitted terminal blocks, fuse terminals, ELCBs, MCBs as per site requirement, RTU battery charger with backup battery, main power supply and other accessories. Scope to include enclosure foundation, civil related works
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of solar powered system wherever applicable.
- Construct pocket substation foundations, Pay DEWA Estimate for electrical cables and install the LV power cables from substations to kiosks then to wells and wells chambers.
- Installation of flexible Indicator post and Marker posts.
- Construction of access/internal roads including street lighting within wells field area including supply of material, construction of pavement layers, inspection, and commissioning as per RTA standard requirements and procedures.
